Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of this website. They are not your service agreement — managed IT and cybersecurity services are provided under a separate written contract, and where the two differ, that contract controls.
Effective January 1, 2026
About these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
Nothing on this website is an offer or a contract for services. A services relationship begins only when both parties sign a written agreement describing scope, pricing and term.
Using this website
You may read this site, share links to it, and use the forms to contact us about your business. You agree not to:
- Submit false information, or submit a form on someone else's behalf without their knowledge.
- Use the forms to send unsolicited commercial messages.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it.
- Scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of the content without permission.
- Use the site to do anything unlawful.
We apply automated protections against form abuse. These may block a submission that looks automated. If a legitimate submission is blocked, call or email us.
Information on this site is general
We write about technology and security in general business terms. It is information, not advice tailored to your situation, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for a proper assessment of your environment.
We do not provide legal, accounting, insurance or regulatory advice. Where this site refers to compliance obligations or security frameworks, that is description, not interpretation of how an obligation applies to you.
About the free assessment
The Free IT & Security Assessment is a review of how your technology and security are configured and operated, delivered as a short written findings summary. It is provided at no cost and carries no obligation.
To be explicit about its limits, the assessment is not:
- A penetration test.
- A formal regulatory or compliance audit, or an attestation against any standard or framework.
- An exhaustive vulnerability assessment or a complete technical scan of every system.
- A guarantee that every risk in your environment has been identified.
An assessment reflects what was visible within an agreed, limited scope at a point in time. Environments change, and so does the threat landscape. Any access we need is agreed in writing beforehand, and we make no changes to your systems during an assessment.
No guarantee of security outcomes
Security measures reduce risk. They do not eliminate it, and no provider can promise immunity from attack, data loss or downtime. We will not tell you otherwise, and we'd encourage you to be sceptical of anyone who does.
Any service levels, response targets or availability commitments apply only if they are written into a signed services agreement. None are created by this website.
Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this website belong to us, except where a third-party product or company name is referenced. Those names and marks belong to their respective owners, and referring to them does not imply affiliation, partnership or endorsement unless we state it explicitly.
Third-party links
Where we link to another site, we do it because we think it's useful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep this site available and accurate but don't guarantee either. We may change, suspend or remove content at any time, and we may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on general information published here.
This clause limits liability relating to the website only. Liability for services is addressed in the applicable services agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
